Advantages

Firstly as a small business it is very diffucult to develop a wide range of core expertise in the Information Technology Industry. Therefore by joining our consortium you are able to focus on what you do best while still being able to pursue those mega IDIQ projects that have requirements outside your expertise.

Secondly small businesses are usually unable to provide references or will try to fudge references outside of their core expertise. As a consortium we are able to pull past references from any company within the consortium, thereby showing realistic and quantifiable references.

Thirdly as a small business it is not feasable or sometimes even possible to dedicate resources to the development of 2 proposals per month. As a consortium member you are able to share that cost and have your management focus on more pressing corporate governance issues.

Fourthly as a small business it is easy to adopt Standards and Policies like IEEE/EIA or ISO etc., but these are just standards and policies and not formal Approaches and Plans. As a consortium member we have developed the plans for accomplishing the work while maintaining compliance with the Federal Governments required Standards and Policy mandates.

You can either compete with the Consortium who has combined their Strengths, Experience, References and Capabilities into one single entity, OR
you can compete against the Consortium with your limited Strengths, Experience, References and Capabilities.
