In 2003 while consulting to a series of small businesses our founder Mr. Charles Van Houten realized that the costs associated with starting a Federal Government Business Development Practice was out of the reach of many small businesses. To further compound the situation the resources needed to develop the required Approaches like Management Approach, Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans, Business Re-engineering Approach, Software Development Approach, etc. was beyond the reach of most small businesses. As a former Project Manager for Ernst and Young and Accenture Mr. Van Houten was well aquatinted with big company differentiators like corporate |
methodologies and their ability to dedicate entire teams to pursuing Federal Business. In 2004 Mr. Van Houten started developing and tuning a series of approaches suited to the Federal Governments requirements in an effort to level the playing field between small companies and large corporations. In February 2007 after successfully winning several Federal and State projects Mr. Van Houten launched SilverSoft Consulting with a business model designed to allow small companies to share the costs and resources associated with Federal Government Proposal Development and to allow small companies to collaborate on their experiences and certifications. |
